Published: January 9, 2026 • Collection: Custom Pet Urns
Losing a pet changes the shape of a home. The bowls are still there, the leash is still by the door, and yet everything feels different. Today, we’re introducing our Custom Pet Urns collection—not as “another product line,” but as a gentle option for families who want a lasting, respectful way to hold what remains, and to honor what never leaves: love.
Why we brought Pet Urns into PetDecorArt
PetDecorArt began with one simple belief: memories deserve a human touch. We’ve spent years turning photos, stories, and small details into handmade keepsakes. Introducing pet urns is a natural extension of that promise— especially for families who want something more personal than a generic container, and something more grounded than a digital album.
We also want to say this plainly: grief isn’t a “customer journey.” It’s a life moment. When we create a memorial item, our goal isn’t to sell you a feeling—it’s to help you protect something precious, and make room for remembrance in a way that feels calm, respectful, and yours.
Our work has always been rooted in craftsmanship and care. As part of our broader mission, we support stray animal rescue efforts through the PetDecorArt Foundation (learn more on our About Us page).

What’s in the collection
This collection includes several styles, so families can choose what feels most like their pet (and most fitting for their home). Some urns focus on portrait artistry, while others keep the design simple—name-forward, calm, and timeless.

How personalization works (and what to expect)
When something matters, the process matters too. Our approach is simple: you share what’s meaningful, we craft it by hand, and we keep communication clear—so you never feel like your order disappeared into a system.

| Step | What you do | What we do | Helpful link |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1) Choose a style | Select the urn that feels right (portrait-forward, minimal, or warm wood detail) | Confirm key options and personalization fields | Custom Pet Urns collection |
| 2) Personalize | Enter your pet’s name (and upload photos when the design includes a portrait) | Prepare your order for an artist-led workflow | How we work (About Us) |
| 3) Craft & review | Share feedback if we request confirmation | Handcraft the piece and ensure quality before shipping | Contact us |
| 4) Keep remembering | Create a small ritual that fits your family | Offer tools and guides that support gentle remembrance | Memorial Message Generator |
How to choose the right urn
Picking an urn can feel heavier than it “should.” If you’re not sure where to start, begin with the practical, then come back to the emotional: size/capacity first, then style.

A gentle checklist
- Start with the listing guidance: each urn page includes the capacity or an “up to” reference.
- Decide what you want to keep: ashes only, or also small keepsakes (tag, fur clipping, a note).
- Choose the style that feels like your pet: portrait-forward (Pet Planet) or name-forward (classic ceramic styles).
- If you want more context about aftercare questions: read our guide on pet cremation transparency and what families should know: pet cremation guide.
If you’re between two sizes, choose the one that gives you a little breathing room. Grief doesn’t need “perfect math”—it needs peace of mind.
Gentle resources for remembering

FAQ
Is it okay if I’m not ready yet?
Yes. There’s no “right time.” This page will still be here when you are.
Can I order an urn even if I don’t have ashes?
Many families use an urn as a keepsake container for a tag, a letter, a photo, or a small token. What matters is what it holds for you.
How do I personalize my urn?
Each product page lists what can be customized (name, and for portrait styles, photo-based details). Please follow the prompts on the product page, or reach us via Contact Us.
Where should I place the urn at home?
Choose a calm, stable, dry place—somewhere you naturally pass by, but where it won’t be knocked over. If you’d like a structured guide, our memorial altar article can help: read it here.
